Bags for the Bitty Booties

These are the little bags for the Bitty Booties. I thought they would make a nice little bag for small items and maybe toys. Victoria's bag has a drawsting top and Lil A's just has handles. Victoria's bag fades from yellow to turquoise on the other side. The bags were made from my hand dyed fabric.

Bitty Booties Pt 2

Another set of Bitty Booties, this time sewn for Lil'A. The kite pair was supposed to have an airplane also but I was afraid the chunky shank-style button was a choking hazard. The kites and the puffy clouds make this my favorite pair. Now what goes with Bitty Booties? Bitty Baby Toy Bags thats what.....wait until you see these cute bags. I am going to give the Bitty Booties as gifts for Christmas wrapped in nifty little bags. I should have them finished and posted by Monday. ~~~ Yes, I know ..... where are the postcards? Well, Ladies, you will have to wait a few more days...

Bitty Booties

Last Tuesday as I was traveling through my favorite blogs I noticed a pair of these Bitty Booties. Those tiny shoes had a link to the pattern at Heather Bailey's Blog. Sorry Art2Mail 19 your pc's are now on hold. I just had to make a pink pair for my niece Victoria. The first pair looked a little large so the next two pair are the smaller size.

Christmas cards

I finally finished my Christmas postcards. Whew! I don't know why I put them off this year. These are my favorites from all the poinsettias. A few of the cards were of doves, quotes or swirly trees. Somehow these were the most fun. Probably because of the freeform cutting and painting of the flowers. Liquifuse is now my favorite fusible. That is how all the parts were made on the bottom picture. Just drawing with the Liquifuse and then cutting out the shape on the line of fusible. This is the method I am using on a horse postcard for Sonja. Almost finished but no pics until cards are sent. A few abstract postcards also in the works with the Liquifuse.
