Dusting off the old blog - don't breathe in too deeply
I've not taken pix of my work lately - need to get back into the habit so for now I will just post pictures to inspire - what would you make from one of these pics? Which one would you use? None? All? Would you be literal? Just use the colors and go of on your own? An abstract? Please comment and tell me what you would do

blue sky is inspiring me to paint fabric for summer project!
is that a sweet pea in the second frame ? my favorite shade of merlot!
third frame looked like biscuits. upon closer inspection the texture is a grid? all very fine starting points!
I would do a painting of the first one, very painterly. of the third I would make a texture, maybe a carving or something that I could over stamp or under stamp. cool stuff. glad you dusted your blog off. missed u!
Picture #3 makes me want to carve a rubber stamp for background texture. I could do color play with #2, and #1 I do like the lines but #3 is it for me.... hmmmmm... searching for something sharp and pointy....

I love to take pictures heavy on the abstract or geometrical - to use as backgrounds

me too! i just went out to collect mail when i had to go back and get camera to shoot my neighbors wall and plants. will play with them tonight. lotsa green with color!!need to edit out power lines!oh my!! i go around saying wow !!! allot.....do you?
YES! I do - my neighbors look at me funny now - there is a dance club about 5 miles from here - out of business now - but the delivery wall has turned green from who knows what being spilled - I took a picture - people driving by probably thought I wanted to buy the place - ha ha - I'll find the pic and post it :)
